Martin Norström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Kurt Grönlund made a huge save. If Henric Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes of play, Habo FF's Martin Norström made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Grönlund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rikard Bern didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulrik Almstedt went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ulrik Almstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Rikard Bern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Henric Nyman made the kick off in the second half. Kurt Grönlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Nyman in the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Martin Norström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Martin Norström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Grönlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Grönlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henric Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Grönlund having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skånes Fagerhult players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Habo FF.
