Freddie Lindblom's late challenge caught a AKINCILAR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind AKINCILAR's goalkeeper Billy Berg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, AKINCILAR's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Kielstedt came free, but Billy Berg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, BK Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Nyman came free, but Kåre Deckbergh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kåre Deckbergh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes of play, AKINCILAR's Åke Näver made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kåre Deckbergh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åke Näver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Kåre Deckbergh made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in AKINCILAR's zone, Egon Kielstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Berg came out of the goal and Egon Kielstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BK Stolpskott's Urban Bocklund got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urban Bocklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Berg having to interfere. When Egon Kielstedt came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the BK Stolpskott fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egon Kielstedt couldn't finish the play. Urban Bocklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Berg having to interfere. If Egon Kielstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, BK Stolpskott's goalkeeper Kåre Deckbergh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Näver. If Åke Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Einar Nyman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kåre Deckbergh having to make a save. Åke Näver succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 45th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Per-Erik Blomquist kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Åke Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKINCILAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Näver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Deckbergh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, BK Stolpskott's Ingvar Lövgren got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 61 minutes, Ingvar Lövgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 68th minute Åke Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 played minutes BK Stolpskott got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Bark. After a rather tough play, BK Stolpskott's Freddie Lindblom got a free kick in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Olov Sjöström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AKINCILAR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Stolpskott the free kick. The supporters of BK Stolpskott booed when AKINCILAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Sjöström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Berg was a little too slow when Urban Bocklund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-2. Egon Kielstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Billy Berg made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
