Dag Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Molin, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Lars-Erik Bredberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Spurs's zone, Viktor Kielstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Haeger came out of the goal and Viktor Kielstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Molin in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dag Brandin saved Icebeers from getting behind. Lars-Erik Bredberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Haeger having to interfere. Mattias Vik was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, one of Spurs:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spurs. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Icebeers's Kent Qvalfeldt got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Anders Haeger. Lars-Erik Bredberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Haeger having to interfere. Anders Haeger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Dahlkvist in the 34th minute. In the 36th match minute, Icebeers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Qvalfeldt to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Nordström struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dag Brandin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spurs. In the 45th match minute, Spurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Sikström to maneuver through the defense. If Bernt Dahlkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Molin was the one to do the kick off. If Charlie Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute, Tobias Hellgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Brandin having to interfere. Bernt Dahlkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Haeger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Bernt Dahlkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spurs's Anders Haeger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lars-Erik Bredberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match Kent Qvalfeldt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Haeger skillfully saved the ball. Lars-Erik Bredberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anders Haeger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Lars-Erik Bredberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icebeers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Bredberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Haeger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charlie Molin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dag Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johannes Falck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Icebeers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
