Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingvar Lundgren started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Smed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Emil Vinström made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Almqvist was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 8th minute, Kristoffer Nordström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Axel Qvalfeldt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Almqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Lundgren in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Almqvist saved Värnamo FF from getting behind. Emil Vinström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Smed in the 17th minute. Sebastian Smed could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Emil Vinström made a huge save. Ingvar Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Torsten Almqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Ingvar Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Värnamo FF's Torsten Almqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Ivarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Almqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Waller in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Ingvar Lundgren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Värnamo FF's Torsten Almqvist. Torsten Almqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Värnamo FF's Torsten Almqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Lundgren in the 45th minute of play. Torsten Almqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingvar Lundgren during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 48th minute, Ingvar Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Ingvar Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Axel Brandin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torsten Almqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Axel Brandin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 53rd minute. Adrian Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 61 in the game by Ingvar Lundgren from a close distance when the talented Torsten Almqvist managed to make a qualified save. Värnamo FF's players were relieved. Adrian Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Almqvist having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Emanuel Waller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segersta and the Värnamo FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Segersta getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Emanuel Waller hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Värnamo FF got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Smed. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ingvar Lundgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Värnamo FF's Torsten Almqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adrian Ivarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Torsten Almqvist made a huge save. Segersta's Adrian Ivarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Torsten Almqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Segersta's Ingvar Lundgren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Segersta's Ingvar Lundgren was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 87th minute Sebastian Smed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Vinström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Vinström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Smed, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 95 played minutes Segersta got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Lundgren.
