Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Charlescrown Sailors's goalkeeper Knut Ekegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Backlund. Melker Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Hake, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Fc Eagles's Sven Frykberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. When Fc Eagles's Christer Abrahamsson in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Charlescrown Sailors's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Knut Ekegren made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, Fc Eagles's Alexander Backlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Knut Ekegren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Abrahamsson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Knut Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melker Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Eriksson in the 32nd minute of play. Knut Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Abrahamsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexander Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Knut Ekegren made a huge save. Alexander Backlund scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Knut Ekegren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Abrahamsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isac Eriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Fc Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Sven Frykberg. Christer Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Knut Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Backlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Knut Ekegren having to make a save. Per-Arne Strömqvist hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Charlescrown Sailors's zone, Christer Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Ekegren came out of the goal and Christer Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Knut Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christer Abrahamsson in the 65th minute of the match. Knut Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Backlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Charlescrown Sailors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Backlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Charlescrown Sailors's Alvin Hake got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 97 minutes, Alexander Backlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Eagles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Backlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Fc Eagles players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
