Douglas Törnkvist really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Skee BK booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Helberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Jörgen Sävström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Berg came out of the goal and Jörgen Sävström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Urban Markusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, River Plate's Charles Berg got control of the ball when Jonas Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Skee BK's Jonas Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Skee BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Olsman to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Skee BK's Jörgen Sävström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Helberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vincent Skager tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Berg having to interfere. Charles Berg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 59 minutes, Jörgen Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skee BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Sävström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Petter Nykvist took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Berg. Charles Berg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jonas Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Berg having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Jörgen Sävström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
