Kurt Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Abrahamsson having to interfere. Bandhagen IF's Sixten Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Ahlin in the 9th minute of play. Per-Erik Ahlstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Hässelby FF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Andreas Hellqvist hit a great ball. Bandhagen IF's Kurt Sävström got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sixten Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Kurt Sävström in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Samuel Abrahamsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sixten Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Ahlin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Hellqvist in the 33rd minute of play forced Bandhagen IF's goalkeeper Sixten Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Bandhagen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Engman came free, but Sixten Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Simon Ahlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixten Duset saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludwig Klintæus made a kick off. Lennart Björnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Hellqvist got free with Sixten Duset in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niklas Sandell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sixten Duset made a huge save. In the 72nd minute, Bandhagen IF's Harry Magnusson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Harry Magnusson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bandhagen IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Harry Magnusson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 71 minutes into the game, one of Bandhagen IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sixten Duset had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Kalle Låsberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sixten Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Ahlin in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Sandell got free with Sixten Duset in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Simon Ahlin took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Sixten Duset to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the match, Hässelby FF's Simon Ahlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixten Duset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sixten Duset made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Andreas Hellqvist sent off a good shot on target. 96 minutes into the match, Bandhagen IF's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Emil Engman came free, but Sixten Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hässelby FF's Samuel Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Sävström in the 98th minute of play. Hässelby FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
