Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig Kolberg made a kick off. A collision led to FC ONT getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Aron Falkrantz hit a great ball. If Stig Kolberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-3 became the score in the 55th minute when Kjell Danielsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Kolberg in the 61st minute of play forced FC ONT's goalkeeper Göran Ekberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Kolberg in the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Kolberg in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göran Ekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 76 minutes, Jon Olsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydal IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Olsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC ONT's Gustaf Svanberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jon Olsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Ekberg having to interfere.
