Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pontus Söderström started the match with the kick off. Pontus Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Barsele's Pontus Söderström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Karl-Ove Ålberg. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Henning Bergqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Algren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henning Bergqvist in the 20th minute of play. Henning Bergqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Algren having to interfere. Olle Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Marc Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conny Holm was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 33 minutes in the game, Bertil Bäck dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Olle Åström fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deegens IF's protests and gave Olle Åström a yellow card for diving instead. Olle Åström hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Pontus Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bertil Bäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henning Bergqvist was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Bäck in the 52nd minute of play forced Deegens IF's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deegens IF's Olle Åström got his second yellow card of the match in the 53rd minute. The referee ordered Olle Åström off the ground. After a rather tough play, Deegens IF's Olle Åström got a free kick in the 54th minute. Joakim Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Algren having to interfere. Valentin Algren made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Joakim Sundström sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Deegens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Söderström came free, but Karl-Ove Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Bäck in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Ove Ålberg saved Deegens IF from getting behind. Valentin Algren made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Joakim Sundström sent off a good shot on target. Karl-Ove Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Söderström in the 84th minute of play. Deegens IF's Karl-Ove Ålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Bäck in the 89th minute of play. Karl-Ove Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Söderström in the 90th minute of play. Karl-Ove Ålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Bäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Bäck in the 95th minute of play forced Deegens IF's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Ålberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertil Bäck took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Ove Ålberg. Karl-Ove Ålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barsele had won after a very even match.
