The audience was convinced that Ludwig Tomasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Ålberg was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Dennis Utfal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deegens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Banken 3 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Deegens IF's Dennis Utfal got a free kick in the 14th minute. Team Banken 3's Jon Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Bergqvist in the 17th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Henning Bergqvist made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Team Banken 3's Jon Johansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Team Banken 3's Ludwig Tomasson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Ove Ålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Tomasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Gunnar Lindberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Jon Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Sundström in the 40th minute of the match. Manfred Wennersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Frans Wallman could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Karl-Ove Ålberg however easily saved by the left post. During the 45th minute of the match Dennis Utfal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dennis Utfal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Deegens IF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dennis Utfal hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joakim Sundström made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Frans Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Banken 3's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Wallman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Ove Ålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ludwig Tomasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Ålberg having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Team Banken 3's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Tunberg came free, but Jon Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Olle Åström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deegens IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team Banken 3 the free kick. After 61 played minutes Deegens IF got a freekick which was hit by Olle Åström. In the 64th minute, Ludwig Tomasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Team Banken 3 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Holm to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Sundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Bjurström kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Olle Åström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon Johansson having to interfere. If Joakim Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henning Bergqvist hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deegens IF's zone, Ludwig Tomasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Ålberg came out of the goal and Ludwig Tomasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
