Spectators: 7329 (Terracing: 5498, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) Karl-Johan Näver started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The nice shot from Mattias Berglund in the 4thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Harald Stålman had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erland Hellqvist in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lennart Holmgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Johan Näver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sturkö FC's attack was well implemented in the 15th minute, but when Karl-Johan Näver was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Lennart Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Näver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Johan Näver in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lennart Holmgren saved Väring FK from getting behind. In the 22ndth minute of the game Karl-Johan Näver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Väring FK's Lennart Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Sturkö FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Östlund came free, but Harald Stålman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Erland Hellqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sturkö FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erland Hellqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes in the game, Karl-Johan Näver dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Erland Hellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Lennart Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manfred Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Väring FK's protests and gave Manfred Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. Manfred Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Väring FK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Näver came free, but Lennart Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Hellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karl-Johan Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45thth minute of the game Karl-Johan Näver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Väring FK's Lennart Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lennart Holmgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Johan Näver's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustav Östlund to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Berglund in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harald Stålman saved Sturkö FC from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Gottfrid Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Mattias Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Väring FK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Näver came free, but Lennart Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Karl-Johan Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Holmgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Väring FK's zone, Erland Hellqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Holmgren came out of the goal and Erland Hellqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sturkö FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Väring FK a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eddie Engman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sturkö FC's Harald Stålman. 1-3. Ingvar Runeberg charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ingvar Runeberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sturkö FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ingvar Runeberg hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Väring FK got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Berglund. Karl-Johan Näver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Lennart Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erland Hellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Holmgren having to interfere. When Erland Hellqvist fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sturkö FC's protests and gave Erland Hellqvist a yellow card for diving instead. If Erland Hellqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th match minute, Väring FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Nordin to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 100 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Erland Hellqvist sped through Väring FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lennart Holmgren.
