Roland Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egil Hydén made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Hugo Lindqvist sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Matthias Rosendahl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Egil Hydén, 1-0. Roland Knutsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Malmberg in the 18th minute of the match. Håkan Dahlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emil Valler fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Påryd RK's protests and gave Emil Valler a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Hugo Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Påryd RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Påryd RK's Hugo Lindqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egil Hydén made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Håkan Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ulf Malmberg struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Roland Knutsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finsta IF. A collision led to Påryd RK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tomas Hägglund hit a great ball. If Håkan Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Dahlberg in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Knutsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Rosendahl to strike the kick off in the second half. Pär Låsberg thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Egil Hydén, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 3-0. If Håkan Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niclas Wallin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roland Knutsson. Påryd RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Påryd RK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
