Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Eklund in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Magnusson made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Olov Eklund sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Ayuub defense, Olov Eklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Magnusson. The Ayuub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Magnusson should have stopped the shot. Olov Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Magnusson having to interfere. Timmernabben's Olov Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ayuub's zone, Frans Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Magnusson came out of the goal and Frans Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timmernabben's Olov Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Simon Magnusson made a huge save. Frans Rolfsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Simon Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kenneth Utter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans Rolfsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simon Magnusson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frans Rolfsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frans Rolfsson made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Olov Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timmernabben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olov Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Frans Rolfsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Ayuub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. Christer Bocklund struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Niklas Sundling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayuub. Ayuub's Simon Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Rolfsson in the 63rd minute of play. Olov Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niklas Sundling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Utter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan Västberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Olov Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Frans Rolfsson sped through Ayuub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Magnusson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Rolfsson in the 89th minute of play forced Ayuub's goalkeeper Simon Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ove Holm during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ove Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Ludwig Bredberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Simon Magnusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ayuub's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
