Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan Sundström got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Sven Hedkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fjärås BF's Henning Hylander managed to work through Hallabro's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Henning Hylander dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Åke Nyman made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jens-Ola Örtendal sent off a good shot on target. If Jan Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henning Hylander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Nyman having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Henning Hylander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hallabro's Åke Nyman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per-Erik Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Falk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Jan Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Per-Erik Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henning Hylander in the 62nd minute of play forced Hallabro's goalkeeper Åke Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Fjärås BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Valler to maneuver through the defense. Jan Sundström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Erik Ahlroht having to make a save. After some careless play in the Fjärås BF defense, Holger Falk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per-Erik Ahlroht. The Fjärås BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per-Erik Ahlroht should have stopped the shot. Holger Falk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Per-Erik Ahlroht skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Holger Falk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hallabro's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Falk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Erik Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Ahlroht having to interfere. Sven Hedkvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Fjärås BF's Per-Erik Ahlroht got control of the ball when Holger Falk tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Fjärås BF booed when Hallabro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Söder didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Jens-Ola Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fjärås BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ola Örtendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Henning Hylander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Hallabro were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Fjärås BF side.
