Spectators: 7270 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Einar Sjöström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Per-Arne Rydelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Åke Kellman having to interfere. Nils-Åke Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Sjöström in the 8th minute of play. Tage Kjellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience cheered when Joachim Berg's long shot passed Alvin Sigman's right side. It was 1-0, 11 minutes into the match. Evert Ekström might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvin Sigman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Ekström ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Per-Arne Rydelius notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Royal Fixz FC's Nils-Åke Kellman. Nils-Åke Kellman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Royal Fixz FC's Evert Ekström in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Zone's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, The Zone's Olle Björck got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, The Zone's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Ekström came free, but Alvin Sigman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per-Arne Rydelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Arne Rydelius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Åke Kellman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Nils-Erik Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alvin Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal Fixz FC's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Kellman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Royal Fixz FC's Nils-Erik Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Einar Sjöström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Einar Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Ekström to make the kick off. The Zone's Alvin Sigman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Ekström in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Hans Sundström suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When John Koch fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Zone's protests and gave John Koch a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, John Koch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Erik Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils-Erik Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Sigman having to interfere. If Nils-Erik Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes The Zone got a freekick which was hit by Tage Kjellbom. In the 71st minute Einar Sjöström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Kellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Einar Sjöström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nils-Åke Kellman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Royal Fixz FC's Nils-Åke Kellman got control of the ball when Per-Arne Rydelius tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Per-Arne Rydelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Erik Nordin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvin Sigman having to interfere. Nils-Åke Kellman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Einar Sjöström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. Royal Fixz FC's Nils-Erik Nordin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Per-Arne Rydelius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Zone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Arne Rydelius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvin Sigman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Nordin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Åke Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Sjöström in the 99th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Zone had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
