Väddö's Villiam Fagerberg pulled a muscle in his back after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Samuel Nyberg's late challenge caught a Väddö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Falkenberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Myhr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Gert Myhr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Myhr in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leo Anundsson was the one to do the kick off. Sven-Ove Bjursell charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Bjursell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Väddö's Stefan Wall got control of the ball when Gert Myhr tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Väddö fans cheered their team off the field, for while Falkenberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
