Spectators: 7335 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Östen Hök got the match started through his kick off. Huskvarna's Ove Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Sundling in the 8th minute of play. Gert Sundling struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ove Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odensbacken. After 17 minutes, Östen Hök made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Huskvarna's Ove Engström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thor Hammarberg hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Anton Lundblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Östen Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Odensbacken booed when Huskvarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rune Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ove Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Sundling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Huskvarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Sundberg to maneuver through the defense. Gert Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Östen Hök managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odensbacken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Hök was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rune Sundberg's late challenge caught a Odensbacken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rune Sundberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Rune Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Anton Lundblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Carl Ödmann came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Huskvarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Ödmann couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Huskvarna's Boris Hägert got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Engström having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Gert Sundling could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Ove Engström however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Huskvarna's Ove Engström got control of the ball when Gert Sundling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Östen Hök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Hök in the 65th minute of play forced Huskvarna's goalkeeper Ove Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Östen Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Huskvarna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Anton Lundblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gert Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Engström having to interfere. If Östen Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute of the match Christer Arhenius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ove Engström skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute, Gert Sundling reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ove Engström. The goal made the score 0-2. Östen Hök recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Arman Lind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huskvarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Odensbacken the free kick. In the 97th match minute, Huskvarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arman Lind to maneuver through the defense. The Huskvarna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Odensbacken were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
