Elias Jakobsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Nyberg went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 13 minutes, Gert Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odensbacken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gert Sundling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Östen Hök got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Hök in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Nyberg during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Väddö got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Nyberg. A collision led to Väddö getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniel Ståhlman hit a great ball. Gert Sundling scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Wall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Östen Hök's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Wall was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Gert Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Väddö's goalkeeper Stefan Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gert Sundling. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stefan Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Sundling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Väddö's goalkeeper Stefan Wall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stefan Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Sundling went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Odensbacken fully deserved thier win.
