Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herbert Vinström started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Thor Hammarberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odensbacken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkenberg the free kick. In the 2nd minute, Thor Hammarberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th match minute, Falkenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Henriksson to maneuver through the defense. Östen Hök blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oskar Åberg having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Myhr in the 11th minute of play forced Odensbacken's goalkeeper Elias Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Östen Hök kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oskar Åberg. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Oskar Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rikard Andreasson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Odensbacken's Östen Hök got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gert Sundling blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oskar Åberg having to make a save. After having played for 33 minutes, Östen Hök managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odensbacken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Östen Hök was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thor Hammarberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Odensbacken getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Thor Hammarberg hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gert Sundling made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Falkenberg's zone, Gert Sundling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oskar Åberg came out of the goal and Gert Sundling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Sundling took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oskar Åberg. Oskar Åberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Östen Hök hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Falkenberg's Mikael Östman got a free kick in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddie Göransson during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eddie Göransson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gert Sundling in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Gert Sundling made a precise shot to the right of Oskar Åberg. Falkenberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Odensbacken's Ingemar Isaksson got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Gert Myhr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gert Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Östen Hök came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Odensbacken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Östen Hök couldn't finish the play.
