An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Grelsson in the 13th minute of play forced Hjorted's goalkeeper Thor Fernkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Hök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thor Fernkvist having to interfere. Hjorted's Tage Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Thor Fernkvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Björn Lindsten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Anaya in the 27th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Bo Bocklund had to leave the field with a concussion. After 40 minutes, Delmiro Anaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hjorted and the Ramviks IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Hjorted got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Anaya. 43 minutes into the match, Ramviks IF's Kasper Wallin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Roger Pååk hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramviks IF's Pål Kullgren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thor Fernkvist. That made the score 1-1 after 47 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Pål Kullgren made the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Björn Lindsten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Roger Pååk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Björn Lindsten made a huge save. Olov Hamnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Lindsten having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ramviks IF's zone, Tage Olofsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Lindsten came out of the goal and Tage Olofsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmiro Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute Delmiro Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Lindsten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Delmiro Anaya took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Björn Lindsten to make any attempt to save it. Delmiro Anaya in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Björn Lindsten, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Delmiro Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
