Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Åseda's Lennart Kielberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Saints's goalkeeper Gabriel Björklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anders Bergqvist took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Aleberg. Björn Aleberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ted Bark might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Björklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ted Bark ran back to his position shaking his head. Åseda's Björn Aleberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Grelsson in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Åseda's Lennart Kielberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ted Bark scored 2-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Björklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Folke Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Aleberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn Aleberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Dalgren in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Ted Bark got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Björklund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Björn Aleberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Valler, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ted Bark got free with Gabriel Björklund in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Kielberg in the 33rd minute of play forced Blue Saints's goalkeeper Gabriel Björklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Bark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Björklund having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Åseda's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Dalgren came free, but Björn Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Björklund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lennart Kielberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. Esbjörn Dahlman got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Calle Valler.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Dalgren was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Lennart Kielberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Björklund was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Åseda's Ted Bark got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Lennart Kielberg in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 63rd minute, Manfred Dalgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ted Bark struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gabriel Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åseda. In the 69th minute, Manfred Dalgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The supporters of Blue Saints booed when Åseda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Jonsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Ted Bark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Ted Bark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. If Lennart Kielberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Dalgren in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Åseda's Björn Aleberg got control of the ball when Calle Valler tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Åseda booed when Blue Saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Bergqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Åseda fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Åseda's Lennart Kielberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Åseda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
