The supporters of KINGS booed when Falköpings FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ove Tingelholm sped through Falköpings FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens-Åke Kjellberg. Jens-Åke Kjellberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Tingelholm's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ove Tingelholm in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Åke Kjellberg saved Falköpings FK from getting behind. In the 40th minute of the match Petter Helström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Åke Kjellberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. KINGS's Per-Åke Bryngelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save KINGS from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Arne Felin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Åke Bryngelsson came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Falköpings FK's Jan Bäckman. But to his dismay, Jan Bäckman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Tingelholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Joar Collin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KINGS and the Falköpings FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joar Collin kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Falköpings FK's Jens-Åke Kjellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Falköpings FK from getting a goal against them. Jens-Åke Kjellberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KINGS. After a rather tough play, KINGS's Arne Felin got a free kick in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Falköpings FK's Knut Pilberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Åke Bryngelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Ove Tingelholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Åke Kjellberg was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Falköpings FK's Jan Bäckman got a free kick in the 76th minute.
