The goalkeeper, Niko Voutsas, was totally fooled by Grimsås IF's Viktor Kilberg, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Niko Voutsas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Lövkvist in the 10th minute of play. Niko Voutsas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kenny Engström in the 11th minute. Vara IK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Alf Knutsson scored to the left of an out of position Niko Voutsas, making the score, 3-0. With a little luck, Vara IK's Niko Voutsas got control of the ball when Kenny Engström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niko Voutsas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Knutsson in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Abdullatif Erdoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vara IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdullatif Erdoğdu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rasmus Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Heers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vara IK's Niko Voutsas got control of the ball when Kenny Engström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Grimsås IF booed when Vara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Svanberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Abdullatif Erdoğdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Johannes Lenberg fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vara IK's protests and gave Johannes Lenberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Johannes Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Grimsås IF's Viktor Kilberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niko Voutsas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grimsås IF reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Rasmus Bergström was a little too slow when Abdullatif Erdoğdu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 65th minute, Johannes Lenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdullatif Erdoğdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Bergström having to interfere. When Abdullatif Erdoğdu fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vara IK's protests and gave Abdullatif Erdoğdu a yellow card for diving instead. Abdullatif Erdoğdu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Vara IK's Niko Voutsas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Engström in the 76th minute of play. Niko Voutsas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Knutsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pär Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vara IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Pär Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rasmus Bergström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grimsås IF's goalkeeper Rasmus Bergström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Grimsås IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdullatif Erdoğdu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 92 minutes, Michael Heers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vara IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Heers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdullatif Erdoğdu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdullatif Erdoğdu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Vara IK's Torsten Svanberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rasmus Bergström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abdullatif Erdoğdu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Bergström having to interfere. The Grimsås IF support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
