Mikael Malmström took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hjalmar Kruuse. Hjalmar Kruuse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ernst Wennerqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Sven Strandberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kittys Juniorer's Hjalmar Kruuse didn't even have to move. Karl-Ove Anselius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Kruuse having to interfere. Dennis Ivarsson hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Tim Mellin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sonny Ekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Mellin in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hjalmar Kruuse saved Kittys Juniorer from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Mellin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mikael Malmström came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Krut i Dojjan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Malmström couldn't finish the play. Tim Mellin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hjalmar Kruuse made a huge save. Martin Pettersson's late challenge caught a Krut i Dojjan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Pettersson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kittys Juniorer's Martin Pettersson got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kittys Juniorer's zone, Tim Mellin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hjalmar Kruuse came out of the goal and Tim Mellin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Mellin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hjalmar Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Kittys Juniorer's Mathias Åkerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Huey Paterson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars-Erik Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Kruuse having to interfere. Mathias Åkerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Huey Paterson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 minutes, Adrian Haglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kittys Juniorer and the Krut i Dojjan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Krut i Dojjan booed when Kittys Juniorer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krut i Dojjan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
