Karlholmsbruk RK's Jan-Erik Alén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Karlholmsbruk RK from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute Jan Bruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Granström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Bruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Granström having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Jens Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Granström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Bruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Forserum RK's Maximilian Hedlund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Erik Alén. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Maximilian Hedlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Karlholmsbruk RK fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Karlholmsbruk RK's Jan Bruse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 40 minutes into the match, Karlholmsbruk RK's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Alén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magnus Nyberg. Bo Granström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Säfström in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Forserum RK booed when Karlholmsbruk RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Bruse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Alén having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilian Hedlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Bruse was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Jan Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Erik Alén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Magnus Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Alexander Askestät hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilian Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jan-Erik Alén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvid Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bo Granström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bruse in the 81st minute of play. Jan-Erik Alén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens Bruhn in the 86th minute of the match. Jan-Erik Alén didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximilian Hedlund went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jan Bruse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bo Granström came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Bruse slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karlholmsbruk RK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
