Sonny Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Ahlerot in the 4th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kurt Classon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Öberg was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Tim Söderberg's late challenge caught a Docksta IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 25 minutes of play, Docksta IFK's Aron Ahlerot made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Öberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rdth minute of the game Rickard Gullesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Docksta IFK's Gunnar Andersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ian Bergkvist came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Tvärred fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Bergkvist couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Docksta IFK's Kurt Classon got a free kick in the 41st minute. Rickard Gullesson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gunnar Andersson came out and tried to block the shot, but Rickard Gullesson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Ahlerot made a kick off. A hard shot 54 in the game by Kurt Classon from a close distance when the talented Sonny Öberg managed to make a qualified save. Tvärred's players were relieved. Kurt Classon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Oscar Bengtsson put in a rough tackle. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for Tvärred. Peter Skarkman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gunnar Andersson. 2-1. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Rickard Gullesson sped through Docksta IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gunnar Andersson. Docksta IFK's Gunnar Andersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Bergkvist in the 83rd minute of play. Rickard Gullesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Andersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Gullesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Ian Bergkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Andersson having to interfere. If Ian Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rickard Gullesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Ian Bergkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Bergkvist in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tvärred fans cheered their team off the field, for while Docksta IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
