The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 5 minutes on the clock, Andreas Björkdal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Knäckebröd! Knäckebröd:s Kurt Larsson showed great skill when he stopped Allan Eriksson:s penalty. After 7 minutes of play, Ransäter FF's Allan Eriksson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Larsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isac Månsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Stellan Hedlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Kurt Larsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Fritz Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knäckebröd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Bern was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ransäter FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Knäckebröd had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
