Spectators: 7428 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 100) Lövnäs BK's Viktor Nässén quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Brian Fernström, made in the 9th minute of the game. In the 14thth minute of the game Frans Mattsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lövnäs BK's Tor Grönberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Lövnäs BK's Viktor Nässén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egon Fastesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Gunnar Carlsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Egon Fastesson, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Lövnäs BK defense, Frans Mattsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tor Grönberg. The Lövnäs BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tor Grönberg should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Gunnar Carlsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Egon Fastesson. Gunnar Carlsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Michael Strandberg during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Västerås BK's Karl-Michael Strandberg got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Erik Walmarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lövnäs BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Walmarsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Fastesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gunnar Hellsing fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västerås BK's protests and gave Gunnar Hellsing a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sören Almstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lövnäs BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sören Almstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Fastesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Per Finsberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västerås BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lövnäs BK the free kick. After 45 played minutes Västerås BK got a freekick which was hit by Per Finsberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Fernström in the 48th minute of play forced Lövnäs BK's goalkeeper Tor Grönberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Carlsson was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Västerås BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Markus Pålsson hit a great ball. Västerås BK's Frans Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximilian Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Fogel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Andy Helberg kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frans Mattsson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor Grönberg saved Lövnäs BK from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Lövnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Pålsson came free, but Tor Grönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Västerås BK booed when Lövnäs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolf Wahlnäs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Rosin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Tor Grönberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Gunnar Hellsing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunnar Hellsing struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Tor Grönberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerås BK. 83 minutes into the game, Lövnäs BK's Sören Almstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egon Fastesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 89 minutes of play, Västerås BK's Gunnar Hellsing made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tor Grönberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tor Grönberg was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Frans Mattsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frans Mattsson really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The Västerås BK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Lövnäs BK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
