The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Max Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigvard Stenquist in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils-Åke Sigman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Fågelmara's Stellan Snell got control of the ball when Arne Molander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Järnforsen's Emanuel Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claes Björkdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nils-Åke Sigman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andreas Pååk fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Järnforsen's protests and gave Andreas Pååk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fågelmara booed when Järnforsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Pååk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute, Sigvard Stenquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Järnforsen's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Sigman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Björkdal. With his leg Nils-Åke Sigman managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Fågelmara's Sigvard Stenquist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sigvard Stenquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Fågelmara's Claes Björkdal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils-Åke Sigman. Nils-Åke Sigman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 87th match minute, Järnforsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigvard Stenquist got free with Nils-Åke Sigman in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Dan Klintæus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fågelmara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järnforsen the free kick. Fågelmara's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
