After 20 minutes, Vilhelm Vallman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brunkens Bollklubb and the NackaBajen IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brunkens Bollklubb's Vilhelm Vallman got a free kick in the 20th minute. Sten Malm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Figlewski having to interfere. NackaBajen IF's Bogdan Figlewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Engström in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Brunkens Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Stenman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Malm got free with Bogdan Figlewski in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven-Olof Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sven-Olof Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Olof Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andreas Hedling in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Gustafsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bogdan Figlewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Brunkens Bollklubb's Sven-Olof Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Brunkens Bollklubb from getting a goal against them. When Sten Malm came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Brunkens Bollklubb fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Malm couldn't finish the play. Jan-Olof Bivall kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when NackaBajen IF's Andreas Hedling in the 77th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sven-Olof Gustafsson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Brunkens Bollklubb through an amazing save. Andreas Hedling succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 77th playminute. Bogdan Figlewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Malm in the 81st minute of the match. Sven-Olof Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Hedling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
