With 4 minutes on the clock, Tobias Vallengren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Warriors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nickes BK:s goal. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Nickes BK's Håkan Billvall got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sverker Åberg. After 9 played minutes Nickes BK got a freekick which was hit by Josef Örn. When Nickes BK's Daniel Nordal in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Warriors's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th match minute, Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Överman to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Nordal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Warriors booed when Nickes BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Asmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urban Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Per-Olof Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Axel Haström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Ingmar Hjeltman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warriors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Torbjörn Billvall hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Nordal to make the kick off. Ingmar Hjeltman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Per-Olof Knutsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Warriors's Lars-Erik Fernkvist got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Nordal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverker Åberg was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Daniel Nordal struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Sverker Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nickes BK. The audience was convinced that Inge Lundhberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverker Åberg was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Josef Örn charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Örn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Nickes BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Örn to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Nordal in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sverker Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Warriors's Sverker Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Östman in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Daniel Nordal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Olof Knutsson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Karl-Axel Haström sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th match minute, Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Hjeltman to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
