The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kurt Ahlroht showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sjulsmark's Olle Öman got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Ingmar Hjeltman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Collin might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kurt Ahlroht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Collin ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sjulsmark getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Rickard Ingemarsson hit a great ball. Kurt Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Axel Haström in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Allan Collin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kurt Ahlroht to make any attempt to save it. Warriors's Allan Collin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the game, Karl-Oskar Lekberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warriors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sjulsmark the free kick. The supporters of Sjulsmark booed when Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Lekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Collin in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Sjulsmark's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Collin came free, but Kurt Ahlroht reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olle Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Ahlroht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Collin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Sjulsmark's Kurt Ahlroht proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sjulsmark from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Collin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Axel Haström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Kurt Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olle Öman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sverker Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Öman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Olle Öman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Sverker Åberg made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Warriors's zone, Olle Öman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sverker Åberg came out of the goal and Olle Öman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 played minutes Sjulsmark got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Ingemarsson. The supporters of Warriors booed when Sjulsmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragnar Sundling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Allan Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kurt Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Ingmar Hjeltman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olle Öman struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sverker Åberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjulsmark.
