Stellan Snell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute Ove Klemensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Snell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joachim Norberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Karl-Johan Ahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremy Lane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Norberg in the 18th minute of the match. Stellan Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Sigvard Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Alkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Rinkeby FC's Ingvar Dahlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stellan Snell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Joachim Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fågelmara defense, Ove Klemensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stellan Snell. The Fågelmara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stellan Snell should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Fågelmara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Bållström to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Dahlberg struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Stellan Snell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rinkeby FC. After 45 played minutes Fågelmara got a freekick which was hit by Per Petersson. In the 46th minute, Silvano Oihenarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stellan Snell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ingvar Dahlberg went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Rinkeby FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Stenquist to make the kick off. Stellan Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Alkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Fågelmara's Tony Fribäck got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tony Fribäck hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rinkeby FC's Ove Klemensson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stellan Snell. That made the score 0-4 after 60 minutes of play. Joachim Norberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Lane having to interfere. After 67 minutes of play, Rinkeby FC's Ingvar Dahlberg made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Snell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rinkeby FC's Georg Rudkvist was substituted for Emanuel Falkrantz. Rinkeby FC's Jesco Rienda was substituted for Herman Hall. Silvano Oihenarte was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 75th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ingvar Dahlberg let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 77th minute shot 0-6 at rihgt post. Ove Klemensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Stellan Snell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stellan Snell was a little too slow when Patrik Alkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-7. Rinkeby FC's Georg Rudkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Rinkeby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Stenquist came free, but Jeremy Lane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Rinkeby FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fågelmara throughout the match.
