Jonathan Svensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Per-Olof Knutsson made a huge save. Per-Olof Knutsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Svensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Knutsson having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Edvin Lang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Olof Knutsson. Nickes BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvin Lang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Malte Björkdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Nordal in the 25th minute of the match. Nickes BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Håkan Billvall in the 26th minute. Per-Olof Knutsson was a little too slow when Robin Kleen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. Jonathan Svensson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per-Olof Knutsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Svensson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. Per-Olof Knutsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvin Lang in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Robin Kleen could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Per-Olof Knutsson however easily saved by the left post. Inge Lundhberg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Kleen got free with Per-Olof Knutsson in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, IFK Högalid's Malcolm Lenberg got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

A collision led to Nickes BK getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sverker Gustafsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Kleen in the 56th minute of play forced Nickes BK's goalkeeper Per-Olof Knutsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Robin Kleen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Högalid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 60 minutes into the match, Rickard Kjellqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Olof Knutsson. Nickes BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rickard Kjellqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Per-Olof Knutsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Svensson in the 64th minute of the match. Per-Olof Knutsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Svensson went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Sverker Gustafsson's late challenge caught a IFK Högalid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sverker Gustafsson helped the player get up and apologised. Sverker Gustafsson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Josef Örn kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jonathan Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Per-Olof Knutsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edvin Lang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Kleen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Knutsson having to interfere. Malte Björkdahl was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Tomas Östman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Östman really showed his touch with that goal: 9-1.
