Robin Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Rönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hillared FK's Robin Vennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Rönn in the 7th minute of play. Robin Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Åhus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomas Rönn in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Rönn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robin Vennerlund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12th minute, Hillared FK's Frank Söderkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th minute, Thomas Rönn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åhus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Per Siggman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Siggman in the 20th minute of play forced Hillared FK's goalkeeper Robin Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börje Biörkman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Åhus's Leonard Johnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Åhus from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Åhus's Leonard Johnsson got control of the ball when Sebastian Hybbert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonard Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Söderkvist in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Hybbert got free with Leonard Johnsson in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Boris Ström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Robin Vennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Siggman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Ström's late challenge caught a Åhus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Ström helped the player get up and apologised. Boris Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Thomas Rönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Thomas Rönn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Vennerlund. Hillared FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Rönn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 39thth minute of the game Frank Söderkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åhus's Leonard Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Söderkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Johnsson having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Hybbert to strike the kick off in the second half. Robin Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Frank Söderkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Åhus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hillared FK:s goal. Leonard Johnsson went to the wrong direction when Sebastian Hybbert was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Hillared FK's Sebastian Hybbert in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åhus's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Sebastian Hybbert notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Åhus's Leonard Johnsson. Leonard Johnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute, Sebastian Hybbert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hillared FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. 72 minutes into the match, Frank Söderkvist notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Åhus's Leonard Johnsson. Leonard Johnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Hybbert in the 75th minute of play. Adam Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Åhus defense, Frank Söderkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Johnsson. The Åhus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Johnsson should have stopped the shot. Thomas Rönn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Robin Vennerlund made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Åhus players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hillared FK.
