Ib Moalem showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottfrid Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Michel Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Berggren having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Michel Käcker took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Billy Berggren to make any attempt to save it. Billy Berggren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rubinho Maia in the 11th minute. A collision led to Sundsbruk BF getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emanuel Lindqvist hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Axel Lundhberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Billdal FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sundsbruk BF the free kick. After 14 played minutes Billdal FK got a freekick which was hit by Axel Lundhberg. Ib Moalem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Vassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ib Moalem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Mårtensson in the 23rd minute of the match. Ib Moalem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Vassenius in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Michel Käcker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundsbruk BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Käcker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Billy Berggren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Michel Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute of the match Billdal FK got a corner. Sundsbruk BF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boris Mårtensson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Einar Sikström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sundsbruk BF's Ib Moalem did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boris Mårtensson made a kick off. Boris Mårtensson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Mårtensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sundsbruk BF booed when Billdal FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sundsbruk BF's Ib Moalem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sundsbruk BF from getting a goal against them. If Boris Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Mårtensson in the 62nd minute of play forced Sundsbruk BF's goalkeeper Ib Moalem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Ib Moalem successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Evert Vassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ib Moalem made a huge save. In the 69th minute Michel Käcker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Mats Möllgren sped through Sundsbruk BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ib Moalem. Billdal FK's Billy Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Maia in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Billdal FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Sundsbruk BF's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Vassenius came free, but Ib Moalem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Mats Möllgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ib Moalem made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Evert Vassenius sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Rubinho Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ib Moalem came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Billdal FK's Mats Möllgren. But to his dismay, Mats Möllgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ib Moalem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Vassenius in the 89th minute of play. Evert Vassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Ib Moalem made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
