The Bygdsiljum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 18 played minutes Axbergs IF got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Ersman. In the 20th match minute, Axbergs IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Myhr to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ove Ström in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Kjellkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Per-Erik Fransson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Bygdsiljum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Fransson couldn't finish the play. Gustaf Myhr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Anders Falkrantz made a huge save. After having played for 31 minutes, Patrik Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bygdsiljum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Benet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Hedling in the 34th minute of play forced Axbergs IF's goalkeeper Oskar Kjellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Axbergs IF's Gustaf Myhr got a free kick in the 36th minute. Oskar Kjellkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Hedling's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After 48 played minutes Axbergs IF got a freekick which was hit by Sten Hermansson.
