Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Mellin got the match started through his kick off. When Konrad Bocklund fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furuvik's protests and gave Konrad Bocklund a yellow card for diving instead. Konrad Bocklund hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Mellin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Malcolm Vennerdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henry Kjellkvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Furuvik's zone, Nils Tidén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malcolm Vennerdal came out of the goal and Nils Tidén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthias Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Johan Beckman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vårby's Johan Beckman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Vårby from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johan Beckman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Alebeck in the 16th minute. Vårby's Johan Beckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Bäck in the 18th minute of play. If Sebastian Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magnus Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Mellin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm Vennerdal was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Mellin in the 25th minute of play forced Furuvik's goalkeeper Malcolm Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcolm Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Furuvik's Sven-Erik Alebeck got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Mellin in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Vennerdal saved Furuvik from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Furuvik's Magnus Blomkvist got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sebastian Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johan Beckman made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Håkan Örtlund sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Bäck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Furuvik's Matthias Bäck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johan Beckman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Vårby's Johan Beckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Alebeck in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Vårby's Mårten Söderqwist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mårten Söderqwist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Vårby protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mårten Söderqwist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 62nd match minute, Vårby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mårten Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. Martin Josefsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Beckman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Malcolm Vennerdal made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Oscar Alfors sent off a good shot on target. Nils Tidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rune Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Malcolm Vennerdal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Tidén's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Rune Blomqvist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Furuvik's goalkeeper Malcolm Vennerdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vilhelm Mårtensson. Malcolm Vennerdal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vilhelm Mårtensson. Matthias Bäck took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johan Beckman. Johan Beckman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Oscar Alfors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vårby's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Alfors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Vennerdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Kjellkvist during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 minutes Furuvik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vilhelm Mårtensson who took care of the corner kick. Nils Tidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vårby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Furuvik.
