Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stig Qvarnström took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Jörgen Benet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute of the match Linus Blomquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebastian Vacker skillfully saved the ball. Sebastian Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Stålman in the 11th minute of the match. Aaron Fribäck might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredrik Caspersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aaron Fribäck ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Fribäck struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Fredrik Caspersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK NORRKÖPING. Christopher Kvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Limmared's Sven-Erik Stålman got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Petersson during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aaron Fribäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Caspersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Limmared booed when IFK NORRKÖPING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. IFK NORRKÖPING's Stig Qvarnström got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Caspersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Bergstedt in the 44th minute. When IFK NORRKÖPING's Stig Qvarnström in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limmared's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christopher Kvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Fribäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Knut Pedersson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Stig Qvarnström charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Qvarnström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to IFK NORRKÖPING getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Stig Qvarnström hit a great ball. Sebastian Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Douglas Bergstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Caspersson having to interfere. Douglas Bergstedt struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Fredrik Caspersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK NORRKÖPING. Fredrik Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Fribäck in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Max Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Kvist charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christopher Kvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Limmared getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Christopher Kvist hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Limmared's Christopher Kvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Vacker. Sebastian Vacker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The Limmared players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented IFK NORRKÖPING from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
