The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC Kickerz booed when IFK NORRKÖPING was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Prandini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, Stig Qvarnström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK NORRKÖPING's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kickerz the free kick. After a rather tough play, IFK NORRKÖPING's Stig Qvarnström got a free kick in the 6th minute. When FC Kickerz's Gu Bang Jun in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ingvar Hedman hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Stig Qvarnström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Kickerz's Dimcho Bobchev. Dimcho Bobchev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Prandini in the 37th minute of play forced IFK NORRKÖPING's goalkeeper Sebastian Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Gu Bang Jun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kickerz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 46th minute, Magnus Vester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Qvarnström to make the kick off. IFK NORRKÖPING's Sebastian Vacker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save IFK NORRKÖPING from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gu Bang Jun in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Vacker saved IFK NORRKÖPING from getting behind. Sebastian Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gu Bang Jun in the 58th minute of the match. Franco Prandini in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sebastian Vacker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 65th minute, Stig Qvarnström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimcho Bobchev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Stig Qvarnström put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dimcho Bobchev. Dimcho Bobchev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gu Bang Jun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastian Vacker came out and tried to block the shot, but Gu Bang Jun slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 78th minute.
