Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Harry Bergsten took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Gunnarskog's Emil Bagge dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, Mellösa's Ralf Åhlberg got control of the ball when Rudolf Östlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Börje Arenstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gunnarskog's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellösa the free kick. The supporters of Mellösa booed when Gunnarskog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Arenstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Sandberg having to interfere. After 24 minutes, Jarl Mattsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunnarskog and the Mellösa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Rudolf Östlund fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ralf Åhlberg, passed just outside the right post. When Simon Björklund came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Mellösa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Björklund couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Harry Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Bergsten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Harry Bergsten came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mellösa fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Ahlgren to make the kick off. Ralf Åhlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Östlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Bergsten came free, but Mattias Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnarskog's Mattias Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Bergsten in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Gunnarskog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Bagge to maneuver through the defense. Harry Bergsten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Mattias Sandberg made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jim Ahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarskog's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Ahlgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralf Åhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnarskog's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
