Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vilhelm Fors started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Vilhelm Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Fors in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralf Åhlberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14thth minute of the game Vilhelm Fors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mellösa's Ralf Åhlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Simon Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Billström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Bergsten in the 27th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Mellösa got a freekick which was hit by Edvin Andberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Fors in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Åhlberg saved Mellösa from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Harry Bergsten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sonny Billström. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Vilhelm Fors sped through Mellösa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ralf Åhlberg. In the 45th minute Kåre Biörk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harry Bergsten to make the kick off. Joakim Bjurström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ralf Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fred Lund kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. A hard shot by Elliot Olofsson from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Ralf Åhlberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sonny Billström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvin Andberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Billström having to interfere. Simon Björklund scored 2-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Billström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Bergsten scored 3-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Billström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vattnäs SK's Jörgen Gunnarsson was substituted for Kåre Biörk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Täman in the 88th minute of play forced Mellösa's goalkeeper Ralf Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Mellösa's Simon Björklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sonny Billström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. In the 94th minute, Fred Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mellösa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
