Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fredrik Ek started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Fredrik Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Klövsjö's Peter Vallmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gösta Rosendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Vallmark having to interfere. Klövsjö's Peter Vallmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Rosendal in the 16th minute of play. Peter Vallmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Ek in the 17th minute of play. Jonathan Dahlgren made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ivar Svensson sent off a good shot on target. If Gösta Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Svenssons short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Jonathan Dahlgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Klövsjö booed when Sundsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Karlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Klövsjö's Ivar Svensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Dahlgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivar Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredrik Ek struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Peter Vallmark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundsbruk. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fredric Hedman to strike the kick off in the second half. Fredrik Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Kjellqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Klövsjö's zone, Fredrik Ek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Vallmark came out of the goal and Fredrik Ek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Fredric Hedman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Dahlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 80th minute Fredrik Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Vallmark saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fredric Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredric Hedman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Dahlgren having to interfere. Jonathan Dahlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredrik Ek during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Fredrik Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fredric Hedman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Dahlgren saved Sundsbruk from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Klövsjö fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sundsbruk had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
