Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Fredric Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trekanten's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Flinck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastian Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. August Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Trekanten booed when Linköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Nilsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Åke Flinck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Tidén in the 43rd minute of play forced Trekanten's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The wind increased when Åke Tidén made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Linköping getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joakim Nilsson hit a great ball. Patrik Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ludwig Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Åke Flinck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredric Björk in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Sebastian Nyberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. August Hjortberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ludwig Pihlblad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fredric Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Åke Tidén kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Åke Flinck. That made the score 1-1 in the 90 minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Linköping's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Pihlblad came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
