Asdfgh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Hammarskjöld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sundsbruk booed when Asdfgh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Åhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Dag Hammarskjöld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Dahlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Sundsbruk getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Börje Hedström hit a great ball. Jonathan Dahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Ekrot's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. If Dag Hammarskjöld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Ekrot struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Dahlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asdfgh. After some careless play in the Sundsbruk defense, Tomas Ekrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Dahlgren. The Sundsbruk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Dahlgren should have stopped the shot. If Dag Hammarskjöld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asdfgh's Tomas Ekrot got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Hammarskjöld in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Dag Hammarskjöld ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Dahlgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 35th minute Dag Hammarskjöld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Dahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Ekrot to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sundsbruk's zone, Dag Hammarskjöld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Dahlgren came out of the goal and Dag Hammarskjöld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundsbruk's goalkeeper Jonathan Dahlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Ekrot was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Asdfgh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bertil Deckbergh hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Börje Hedström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mattias Brandt. Asdfgh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gösta Rosendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Dahlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Ekrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Tomas Ekrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Sundsbruk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Hedström to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Ekrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
