Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harry Bergsten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mellösa's Ralf Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Nyberg in the 4th minute of play. When Sebastian Nyberg came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Trekanten fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Nyberg couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Mellösa defense, Sebastian Nyberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ralf Åhlberg. The Mellösa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ralf Åhlberg should have stopped the shot. With his leg Karl-Åke Flinck managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Mellösa's Simon Björklund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sebastian Nyberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Trekanten booed when Mellösa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Ludwig Pihlblad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ralf Åhlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ralf Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Ludwig Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Åhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ludwig Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ralf Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Harry Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Flinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Åke Flinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Flinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Bergsten in the 38th minute of the match. Harry Bergsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Karl-Åke Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Nyberg made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Trekanten got a freekick which was hit by Sune Landin. Ludwig Pihlblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ralf Åhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mellösa's Simon Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henry Nyman's late challenge caught a Mellösa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Nyman helped the player get up and apologised. Mellösa's Simon Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Karl-Åke Flinck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harry Bergsten went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 80 played minutes Trekanten got a freekick which was hit by Henry Nyman. After a defensive mix-up in Mellösa's zone, Sebastian Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralf Åhlberg came out of the goal and Sebastian Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Mellösa's Ralf Åhlberg got control of the ball when Ludwig Pihlblad tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Trekanten players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
