Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sundsbruk's Fredrik Ek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Sonny Billström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Sonny Billström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Hedström in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Fors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Dahlgren was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Vilhelm Fors notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sundsbruk's Jonathan Dahlgren. Jonathan Dahlgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 15 played minutes Sundsbruk got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Martinsson. Sonny Billström came out of the goal and Gösta Rosendal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilhelm Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jonathan Dahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Sundsbruk's Sonny Billström threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fredrik Ek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vilhelm Fors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Elliot Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Vattnäs SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Olofsson couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Fredrik Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Billström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44thth minute of the game Vilhelm Fors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundsbruk's Jonathan Dahlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Dahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilhelm Fors's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilhelm Fors was the one to do the kick off. If Joakim Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Alebeck kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Gösta Rosendal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vattnäs SK's Sonny Billström. Sonny Billström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Sundsbruk's Jonathan Dahlgren got control of the ball when Östen Täman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sundsbruk's Daniel Karlsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Fors cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jonathan Dahlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Abelsson during the 64th minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Vilhelm Fors who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sundsbruk's Jonathan Dahlgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vattnäs SK's Östen Täman got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Vilhelm Fors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vattnäs SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vilhelm Fors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joakim Bjurström struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jonathan Dahlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vattnäs SK. Kenneth Kullgren kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Sundsbruk booed when Vattnäs SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Alebeck didn't get a good kick on the ball.
