Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vilhelm Fors kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Vilhelm Fors made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gunnarskog's Mattias Sandberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mattias Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes, Vilhelm Fors made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gunnarskog's Mattias Sandberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 played minutes Vattnäs SK got a freekick which was hit by Östen Täman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilhelm Fors in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mattias Sandberg saved Gunnarskog from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Ahlgren during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Gunnarskog got a freekick which was hit by Jim Ahlgren. In the game's 24th minute Vattnäs SK's Joakim Bjurström took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Mattias Sandberg and thus the score was 0-3. Vilhelm Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Bjurström struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mattias Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vattnäs SK. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Vilhelm Fors put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Sandberg. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Fors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Sandberg was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vattnäs SK's Östen Täman got a free kick in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Fors cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Mattias Sandberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnarskog's zone, Vilhelm Fors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Sandberg came out of the goal and Vilhelm Fors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jim Ahlgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Joakim Bjurström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mattias Sandberg, 0-6. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnarskog's zone, Kåre Biörk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Sandberg came out of the goal and Kåre Biörk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Jim Ahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Billström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Gunnarskog getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Emil Bagge hit a great ball. Gunnarskog's Mattias Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Bjurström in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Vattnäs SK were awarded a corner. Elliot Olofsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Elliot Olofsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mattias Sandberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Gunnarskog's Jarl Mattsson got a free kick in the 68th minute. Vattnäs SK's Jörgen Gunnarsson was substituted for Kåre Biörk. Jarl Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Vattnäs SK booed when Gunnarskog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarl Mattsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vilhelm Fors's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Mattias Sandberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elliot Olofsson came free in the 79th minute and tried to tip the ball over Mattias Sandberg, but to the joy of Gunnarskog's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. In the 81st minute, Jörgen Gunnarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mattias Sandberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. With a little luck, Gunnarskog's Mattias Sandberg got control of the ball when Vilhelm Fors tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mattias Sandberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilhelm Fors's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Vattnäs SK played a much better game than Gunnarskog and deserved their victory. The Gunnarskog players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
