The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Björklund got free with Peter Vallmark in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Harry Bergsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Peter Vallmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Klövsjö's Ivar Svensson in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mellösa's goalie prevented a goal. Ralf Åhlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hedman in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Hedman in the 17th minute of play forced Mellösa's goalkeeper Ralf Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fredric Hedman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, Tord Billberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klövsjö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mellösa the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Klövsjö's zone, Simon Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Vallmark came out of the goal and Simon Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Harry Bergsten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Vallmark was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Harry Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Vallmark having to interfere. Ivar Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Bergsten to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustav Soned fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Vallmark having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Simon Björklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Bergsten in the 57th minute of play forced Klövsjö's goalkeeper Peter Vallmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Andberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Vallmark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ralf Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Hedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Vallmark came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Mellösa's Simon Björklund. But to his dismay, Simon Björklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 91st match minute, Mellösa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Malmström to maneuver through the defense. If Simon Björklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mellösa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
