Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sundsbruk's Fredrik Ek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mattias Sandberg was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Fredrik Ek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fredrik Ek really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jonathan Dahlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Ahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Ek came free, but Mattias Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sundsbruk's Jonathan Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudolf Östlund in the 21st minute of play. Mattias Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Fredrik Ek dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mattias Sandberg, 3-0. Gösta Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredrik Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattias Sandberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fredrik Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. 34 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog's goalkeeper Mattias Sandberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gösta Rosendal. 35 minutes into the game, Börje Hedström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundsbruk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunnarskog the free kick. Börje Hedström hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gösta Rosendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Mattias Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarl Mattsson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Gösta Rosendal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Sandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Mattias Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattias Sandberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jim Ahlgren made a kick off. After some careless play in the Gunnarskog defense, Gösta Rosendal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattias Sandberg. The Gunnarskog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattias Sandberg should have stopped the shot. Mattias Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Rosendal in the 58th minute of play. Gunnarskog's Mattias Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Ek in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 66 minutes, Gösta Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sundsbruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gösta Rosendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Bagge charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Bagge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 68th minute, Emil Bagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Alf Mikaelsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mattias Sandberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mattias Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrik Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Dahlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gunnarskog. Daniel Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mattias Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Jim Ahlgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Dahlgren. Jim Ahlgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Sundsbruk were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gunnarskog for a fine match.
